Vornado PCO300 Air Purifier

How It WorksThe Vornado PCO300 goes beyond the impressive capabilities of True HEPA by destroying and disabling harmful bacteria, viruses, gases, and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) with its Vornado Silverscreen technology. HEPA filtration traps dust, pollen, pet dander, smoke and more while the carbon pre-filter absorbs odors and captures larger particles like hair. Then Vornados patented silverscreen technology uses a process called Photo-Catalytic Oxidation (PCO) which destroys contaminants by using UV light and TiO2 media. Vornado also uses whole room purification technology to circulate and purify all the air in the room, not just the air near the unit.Additional FeaturesThe PCO300 Air Purifier has sleek, touch-sensitive navigation with simple controls at your fingertips. The sleep mode dims the luminous display automatically in low light situations and child lock keeps little ones from changing the settings. Dust and odor sensors respond to the environment and adjust the fan speed accordingly. Vornado also provides whole room purification to purify more air more often. There are separate indicator lights alerting you when you need to change the HEPA filter, Carbon filter, UV bulb, and silverscreen tray.Filter ChangesTo replace the filters, remove the front panel and the permanent pre-filter by pulling on the center tabs. Then pull on the tabs on the edge of the HEPA filter to remove, and do the same to remove the carbon filter. Push new filters into place, replace the pre-filter by securing it into the tabs, and replace the front panel. To reset the filter indicator lights, simply hold the button next to the indicator light down for at least 3 seconds. The pre-filter does not need to be replaced, but HEPA and Carbon filters should be replaced annually. To replace the UV bulb and silverscreen tray open the front panel, release the tray door by pressing down on the tabs. Remove the silverscreen trays or UV bulb tray by pulling on the tray handle. Discard. Slide a new tray in until it securely snaps and replace the tray door and front panel. The UV bulb should be replaced annually and the silverscreen tray should be replaced every five years. To reset the replacement indicator lights, simply press and hold the indicator light for at least three seconds.Air Flow and PositioningAir is pulled in from the sides of the purifier and clean air is pushed out the top. Place the unit six inches distance away from walls or furniture on every side. For best circulation of the air in the room, face the front panel of the purifier toward the center of the room. What’s in the BoxUnit Size (HxWxD): 21.6” x 15.17” x 11.4″ Unit Weight: 17 lbsIncluded Filter/Accessories 1 Carbon Filter 1 HEPA Filter 1 UV Bulb 2 Silverscreen trays Vornado PCO300 Air Purifier Manual
